Ridiculed and taunted, that night Gwendoline arose from her tear-stained bunk-bed, crept outside to the lake and months later, her body still undiscovered, stories surfaced of the summer camp being haunted by that child, whose woeful wails were heard by only bullies.

“That story ain’t true!” Ed’s scornful voice filled the night air, as the group of children sat huddled around the bonfire.

“Fine, don’t believe me, you can find out for yourself…oh, I mean, any bullies here will find out, she only haunts them, remember?” Jeremy sauntered away whistling, knowing full well from the anxious expressions on the faces of a few kids, there would be absolutely no bullying in the group that he was in charge of!
