Tanka Challenge: Winter Time

Autumn colours fade

First snowflakes gently descend

Jack Frost greets us all

A white winter wonderland

Best season for hot cocoa

Beautiful words, so meaningful for this time of the year in the northern hemisphere.
The first day of summer here in New Zealand, it’s sunny, but I think we missed out on spring this year, it was six months of winter, don’t know where they get global warming from, here down under.
Hope you are having a nice week.

      Thank you! 🙂
Six months of winter! Wow! We barely get winter in my city (though some areas of Pakistan do get snowfall) so we’re always happy to welcome this season, albeit for a short while!
Hope you’re having a great week as well! 🙂
