Ashim D’Silva

Nearly everyday for months now, he kept sending her a different tool with a crudely written note not to call the police.

Frightened and alone, she heeded his warning, her kitchen drawer now crammed full of his vicious tokens.

He said he’d surprise her one night and he did, showing up silently with a dagger in one hand and blood red roses in the other, and as she struggled in his fierce grasp, blade tickling her skin, her free hand yanked open the drawer, easily grabbing one of his many delivered blades, plunging it into his neck, as his savage memento finally freed her from nearly a year of torment.

How sinister you made these implements! Glad she freed herself in the end. I’d be quite unnerved to receive a tomahawk in the mail!

Her wait paid off….I always believe in patiently plotting devious comebacks….loved this story of a weak woman grown strong

A fab twist on a strong prompt, I held my breath while reading it. Well done

Yeah you had to wonder about all those knives in that drawer. I’m sure she never thought, hi sending those to her would actually end with her being able to kill her stalker and get rid of him. Great take!
