Word-High July: Humaling

july 11

Finger-pointing, taunts and sneers
Little Peggy all in tears

To her sanctuary she fled
Tales and legends fondly read

Drowing out the bully’s vice
In her library paradise

Great job thinking of different view points for these words. Having her extremely fond of her library and reading is an awesome take on the prompt.

Thank you so much Mandi! Reading is one way you can get your mind off all such hurtful feelings and imagine a magical world of your own! Especially for kids! 🙂 Thanks again for your comment! 🙂

  2. Bad bully! Glad she can tune him/her out. I don’t know why some people derive joy from bullying others.

A perfect example of how the things we are fond of, provide a welcome escape from some of the harsher things. We can find real comfort there.
