Word-High July: Indak

july 10

Mom and Dad gently twirl

Hands clasp firm and then a whirl

Fifty years to the day

With the music they gently sway

For Word-High July

  1. I love seeing couples dancing, I think it’s really sweet. Especially when they smile whilst dancing, because it reminds them of a time which they started dancing and had so much fun, so when they dance again, like the parents in this poem fifty years later, it brings back fond memories for them, and it’s so nice to know that they still know the dance moves, and the feelings that come with it.

What a lovely comment! Very true! To have that special someone in your life for years and to express yourselves to one another in such a way, must indeed be a wonderful moment to experience! Thank you so much for reading! πŸ™‚

Beautifully expressed. Imaging fifty years of romantic dancing.
