She stumbled halfway across the bridge and the waves washed away her body, as they did the smirk from the bully’s face.
Years later he still awoke, sweating.
Scary three sentences. I suppose the bully deserves to hav nightmares, daring the girl to go across a dangerous bridge. But perhaps that event changed him,
