Six Sentence Story – Charge

My first ever entry for the Six Sentence Story challenge! πŸ™‚

The platoon stood ready, poised for battle, weapons in check, expressions grim.

“Ok men, this is it, get ready….charge!”

Instead, all heads turned and looked at Jeremy, he was sniffing quite loudly now.

“I really need to go to the bathroom, I really do!”

Mrs. Hendricks sighed and emerged from behind the curtain.

“Take a break class, we’ll start rehearsals again in ten minutes.”

I definitely want to read more of your SSStories in the future. This was great, the joys of teaching children – never get to caught up in the moment, because nature always comes a-callin’. That or you need to tie someone’s shoes so they don’t trip.
